Dear Neighbors,

This is a special issue regarding the Mount Laurel School District.

My last E-News Letter was dated August 29, 2007.  The following day there was an article in The Central Record which talked about the No Child Left Behind review, where it cited failing grades for the Hartford and Harrington Schools.  I sent an email to Dr. Rath asking her to help explain the report and she immediately promised to do so.  On Monday, September 10th, I received an email from Marie Reynolds -
Director of Communication Services - informing me that a letter had been drafted by Dr. Sharon Vitella - Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment - and that this letter will be sent home with all students and has been posted at the Hartford and Harrington websites for parents to read.  Here is the link for this letter: http://www.mtlaurelschools.org/harrington/docs/AYP078.pdf
