Dear Neighbors,
I am glad to say that this Newsletter is finding
such happy reviews from township residents. It is meant to keep you up to
date on current events around town and I have been complimented as to its
contents. I would also like to take this time to let you know that I am
personally paying for this site and I am not taking direction as to the contents
from any political party or group. This newsletter needs to stand on its
own and you need to spread the word. Ask your friends and neighbors to
visit and read the back issues and to subscribe to receive future newsletters.
Your email will NOT be shared with anyone else and you will NOT receive any spam

Save Ramblewood Flyer: A flyer has
been circulating asking people in Ramblewood to attend the next Township Council
Meeting on Monday, August 6, 2007 - 8pm - to ask the Town Council to stop the
County from constructing a driveway from the Church Street Shopping Center (WaWa)
on to Ramblewood Parkway. Even though the Township Council had informed
the County that they do not want a driveway from this non residential use site -
in to a residential area, the County has ignored this request and has informed
Council that they will proceed. This driveway is set to be an exit and
entrance point to the shopping center. Residents feel this will decrease
their quality of life and lower their property value. The County will
require all traffic from the Center to use this driveway and only allow right
hand turns in and right hand turns out from and on to Church Street. All
traffic heading North on Church Street, wishing to enter the shopping center,
will be directed on to Ramblewood Parkway to enter the site.
The Flyer is also asking residents to attend the next Planning Board Meeting on
Thursday, August 9, 2007 - 7pm - in regards to a MUA petition before the Board
in regards to new construction at their Pennybridge location on Ramblewood
Parkway. Click here to read the
flyer

Parks and Recreation:
Have you noticed the three fountains that are operating in the lake at Laurel
Acres Park? They are not there for looks only. Parks and Recreation
Director Ralph Giangiulio has stated that he has been planning the fountains for
a number of years now and he states that the installation of the fountains will
reduce the amount of chemicals that are needed to reduce the algae in the lake.
The fountains will not only be an eye pleaser, but they will help keep the lake
healthy. Now if only the fountains could do something about the geese...
Have Your Childs Safety Seat Inspected:
The Mount Laurel Fire Department, in coordination with the Burlington County
Sheriff's Office, has scheduled a FREE Child Safety Seat Inspection at the
Church Road Fire Station on Saturday, September 29th from 10am to 2pm.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Jim Keenan
